Step one

Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.

Step two

Beat together the sugar, butter, and vanilla extract with a hand mixer until fluffy. Slowly add flour and salt and beat on low just until the mixture is combined.

Step three

Spread the dough evenly into your prepared pan and prick with a fork several times. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until edges are slightly brown.

Step four

Whisk together all of the pumpkin pie filling ingredients.

Step five

Pour the mixture over the baked crust. Bake for an additional 35 minutes. Remove and let cool.

Step six

Cover in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours or overnight. Cut into 9 individual bars!
