Description
These 5-ingredient no-bake vegan chocolate rice Krispie treats will be a hit with kids and adults! Decadent chocolate, mixed with creamy nut butter, and crunchy rice crisp cereal makes for a perfect indulgent dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup vegan chocolate chips, melted
- 1 cup nut butter, the runnier the better (I used almond butter)
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups rice crisp cereal
Instructions
- Add the chocolate chips to a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals until completely melted. Immediately, pour the nut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract into the melted chocolate and stir until smooth.
- Add the rice krispie cereal and mix until all of the cereal is coated in the chocolate mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to an 8x8 baking pan lined with parchment paper. Place another piece of parchment paper over top and use the bottom of a glass to pack down the mixture into an even layer.
- Freeze for 30 minutes to allow the rice krispie treats to set before slicing them into 9 squares.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to a week (if they last that long) or in the freezer for up to one months.
