INGREDIENTS

Rice crisp cereal

Vanilla extract

Chocolate chips

Maple syrup

Nut butter

step one

Add the chocolate chips to a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals until completely melted.

Immediately, pour the nut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract into the melted chocolate and stir until smooth.

Add the rice krispie cereal and mix until all of the cereal is coated in the chocolate mixture.

step FOUR

Pour mixture in an 8×8 baking pan lined with parchment paper. Place another piece of parchment paper over top and use the bottom of a glass to pack down into an even layer.

step FIVE

Freeze for 30 minutes to allow the rice krispie treats to set before slicing them into 9 squares.

To store

Store in the refrigerator for up to a week (if they last that long) or in the freezer for up to one months.
